The signing of the Protocol
Dr. Hisham El-Sherif, Minister of Local Development, signed a cooperation protocol at the Ministry's headquarters with the Egyptian Charity Foundation, represented by Dr. Ali Gomaa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Agyad Misr Foundation for the Development of Youth and Youth represented by Dr. Mohamed Rifai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The Protocol aims at cooperation between the three parties in educating the youth and young people in the Egyptian governorates with a number of human and societal values and establishing volunteer centers (values and life) in all governorates to serve as a nucleus for strengthening the moral and social values in the society.
The protocol also stipulates a number of commitments to the Ministry of Local Development, including contributing to the implementation of development programs and projects for community development in the governorates of the Republic. The protocol also stipulates that the project should be under the auspices of the governors and the provision of suitable headquarters in the governorates to help communicate with volunteers As stipulated in the Protocol, the Foundation shall finance and sponsor the project activities financially in the various governorates and shall grant the necessary amount of funding for the project, which will be agreed upon to the Ajyal Misr Foundation in accordance with the grants regulations. Provided by the Foundation of Misr El-Kheir to finance charitable and development activities.
The protocol also stipulates that Ajyal Misr Foundation shall prepare, formulate and produce the necessary scientific materials for the project and train the voluntary teams on how to raise awareness about the campaign management and dissemination of values in the community and put the name and logo of the Ministry of Development as the official sponsor of the project.
The protocol also stipulates that it should be for a period of 3 years.
In a press statement following the signing of the protocol, Dr. Hisham El-Sherif said that the protocol is a model for the excellent cooperation between the ministry and a pioneering institution, Misr El-Kheir, adding that Dr. Ali Gomaa is a great Egyptian value and gave birth to a giant enterprise.
The minister pointed out that the two countries are advancing their enlightened governments and through a civil society that seeks progress and development in our country.
El-Sherif said that the protocol signed today aims to raise awareness among citizens in various Egyptian governorates in the various values system. The minister said that a number of cooperation protocols will be signed with the Misr El-Kheir Foundation in January in a number of fields, including employment, small industries, literacy and animal husbandry.
For his part, Dr. Ali Gomaa thanked the Minister of Local Development for his efforts to make the transition in the provinces. Juma said that there is continuous cooperation with the government and the Minister of Local Development in a number of fields for the benefit of Egypt and benefit citizens.
Juma said that the protocol of cooperation is due to begin next week.
The signing of the protocol was attended by Major General Hamdi Al-Jazzar, the Minister's Advisor for Follow-up, Acting General Secretary for Local Development, Major General Ali Abdulmouli, Advisor to the Minister for Legal Affairs, Eng. Mohammed Al-Sayed Abujaor, Director of Planning Department and several ministry leaders.
