Manyathon is a competition for entrepreneurship targeting youth in Minya Governorate. The contest provides participants with the opportunity to work in teams to create their start-up companies within 48 hours of work. Entrepreneurs and trainers will guide young people and assist them within two days to focus on launching companies to meet the local needs of Minya Governorate.

The event will target about 100 women and youth in Minya governorate

Date: 26 - 27 - 28 October 2017

Hotel Area: Grand Atoun Hotel, Minya

Objectives :

1- Learn how to deal with ideas and turn them into startups

2- Create innovative social companies emerging from young people to overcome the local problems in Minya

3- Provide technical support and training to participants through a group of trainers, mentors, investors and founders

4- Learn how to develop ideas and offer them as investors

The events of the event begin on Thursday with the presentation of ideas and voting by the attendees and then the task forces will be formed

Intensive training and guidance will be provided to participants on Friday and Saturday to create the necessary support as participants work to create business plans for their company

By the end of Saturday the teams will present their companies to a panel of judges, and the winners will be selected at the end of the event

The selection criteria for participation depend on the quality of the solution and the plan for achieving a return from a viable business
